Preparation and Investigation of Ni–Co–P Alloy Coatings Using Jet Electrodeposition with Varying Pulse Parameters

Ni–Co–P alloy coatings were successfully fabricated by jet electrodeposition with varying pulse frequencies and duty cycles in order to prolong the longevity of steel C1045 substrates. The results showed that microstructures properties samples significantly affected cycles. All exhibited a face-centered cubic (FCC) structure. Additionally, average grain size reached 20.6 nm. microhardness was observed first increase, then decrease, rise 656.2 HV0.1, wear scar width 414.4 µm at 4 kHz frequency 80% cycle. corrosion current densities (Icorr) minimum value 0.74 µA·cm−2, rates (Rcorr) 8.9 µm·year−1, charge transfer resistance (Rct) maximum 8.36 × 104 Ω·cm−2, which indicated optimal seawater deposited coatings.
